In 2011, we completed the 2000 sqm wholesale outlet for Polarama in Paarl (R 12 million) as well as the completion of the alterations and additions to the existing heritage site at 107 Bree street (2013). This includes the formation of a 250sqm basement underneath the existing building (R 15 million).
We have completed a 6000 sq metre refurbishment, including a new dry-walling fitout for Ascension Properties at their Spectrum building in Bellville. The same was done in Castle street (2500 sq.) as well as three floors of Atterbury house. We have recently also completed a further two floors at 14 Long Street, and our work at Grand Central Shopping Centre.
We have formed an alliance with our joint venture partners, Group 5, and have completed the construction of the City Lodge at the Grandwest Casino site (R 21 million), the Century City Holiday Inn (R 20 million) and the Cape Tech student residences in Observatory (R 54 million), as well the first phase of the Claremont Library development (R35 million).
We have also completed the R 102 million PetroSA head office extension project in Parow. There are many advantages of forming joint ventures, one of these being that the alliance enables us to enlarge our building capacity significantly.

We successfully completed the restoration of the historic group of buildings at the Spier Estate (Stellenbosch), as well as the construction of new facilities, including a 400-seater conference centre, a 1000 seater amphitheatre, and a railway station - Spier architects & BTKM (R20 million).
Hotel clients have included Erinvale Hotel, Lanzerac Hotel, as well more recently, the Cape Grace Hotel, and as of February 2015, the new function venue at the prestigious Boschendal historical estate (R17 million). We recently completed the new flagship, Pearl Valley Hotel, which will be operated by the Mantis Group.
We have completed construction of a six-storey apartment block in Bantry Bay, a 1500 sq. metre house in Bishopscourt, as well as 24 houses of the new 30 unit Nieuwe Steenberg development in Westlake.
University of Stellenbosch: We successfully completed the refurbishment of three floors at the Polymer building, whilst occupied by the department (R 16,8 million). This was done to the University’s project manager’s (J Engelbrecht) and principal agent, LTS Consulting’s, satisfaction. Previous contracts included work in the Neelsie building, Wilcox building and Goldfields residence amongst many others.
CPUT: We completed additions and alterations to CPUT’s Mowbray campus, which involved the construction of a new three-storey computer centre, the addition of a lecture venue above the existing sports hall, and alterations and additions to the existing library (R 45 million) is nearing completion.
UWC: We have recently been awarded the new Arts faculty building at this University with a contract value of R27 million – Jakupa Architects.
Health Care Institutions
The recently completed, neo natal ward at Panorama Medi Clinic, has been our first foray into the hospital market (JG Kemp Architects). Subsequent to that, we have now achieved practical completion of the new Psychiatric Building at the Paarl Provincial Hospital (Ian Staniland Architects) (R35 million).
We have completed R 10 million in alterations and additions to the new Building Industrial Bargaining Council head office in Bellville.
